An alumni of UC Berkeley, Carlos is currently working at University of Utah in the capacity of a professor. He is the inventor of adaptive liquid lens technology and is serving NewEyes as a board member. He has previously worked at Corning-Intellisense as VP and specializes in microsensors and micro-mechanical technologies. He has authored close to 200 peer-reviewed manuscripts and holds numerous patents to his name.
